- Facials/Skin Structure and Its Disorders (3 Units)

Catalog description

Students will analyze the structure of the skin and define terms related to skin disorders and diseases. Develop skills in hair removal services including tweezing, waxing, chemical hair removal and shaving techniques. Develop skin care techniques to include cleansing, exfoliation, facial massage and mask and pack applications. Students develop skills in makeup applications including corrective makeup techniques based on facial features and shape. Students are required to perform and receive services on each other, as assigned by the instructor.
