Catalog description

This course provides students opportunities to explore ethical dimensions and issues related to decision-making in healthcare. Students will be encouraged to critically think and analyze the human perspective impacting healthcare decisions. Theories and bioethical priniples from the disciplines of nursing, medicine and humanities will be examined for global concepts, values, beliefs and evidence-based practices which address interprofessional and patient collaboration in the synthesis and complementation of patient-specifc healthcare.
