Catalog description
This course is designed to assist candidates in their final preparations prior to their student teaching experience. Teacher candidates will complete a 45-hour field experience with the purpose of refining the implementation of the foundations of education as they relate to effective and meaningful learning experiences for students. Teacher candidates will engage in professional and reflective practice while bringing their coursework with classroom experiences. This course will support students in finalizing their philosophy of education statement, applying for student teaching, and provide an opportunity to engage in an action research project. This is a Proficiency-Based Education course; teacher candidates are required to show mastery on proficiency scales. Prerequisite: EDU 336A (pass with C or better). Course Fees: $10.75
