Catalog description

This course provides a broad overview of data mining and analytics. The course defines the concepts of data mining and machine learning and delves into database of varying types and their relevance to the filed. The importance of data visualization for communication purposes is explored along with the processes of data cleansing, clustering, and classification. Prerequisites; CAPP 156 , BMIS 212 .
