This course is designed to teach the knowledge and skills needed to become effective teachers at the college/university level, including gaining and retaining a teaching position. Students enrolled will actively engage in discussions about teaching and participate in a mock recruitment process by developing a teaching statement, teaching portfolio, CV, and interview lecture and syllabus.
