Prereq., M 115 (preferred); or one of M 121 , M 132 , M 140, M 151 , M 162 or M 171 ; or EdReady placement level 3; or M02-Maplesoft Algebra score >= 14; or ACT score of 23; or SAT score of 560 (with the new test); or ACT score of 21 and HS GPA 3.5; or SAT score of 530 and HS GPA 3.5. Introduction to major ideas of statistical inference. Emphasis is on statistical reasoning and uses of statistics.
