Catalog description

Restricted to graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology. This course examines various approaches to working with children and adolescents with language and learning disabilities. Practical application of language assessment procedures, individualized planning, and language-literacy intervention strategies will be discussed. Language-literacy interventions in the classroom and collaborative strategies will also be covered. Culturally responsive assessment and intervention, as well as the multidimensional nature of language in the classroom will be addressed. Level: Graduate
