Catalog description

Restricted to graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology. This course focuses on the nature, diagnosis, and treatment of developmental stuttering and cluttering and acquired neurogenic and psychogenic stuttering. Students examine assessments of historic and current literature and trends in stuttering research and treatment. Culturally responsive assessment and intervention as well as the multidimensional nature of stuttering are addressed. Level: Graduate.
