Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to provide students with a broad repertoire of theories that guide community health promotion (HP) research and practice. Students will learn to identify and assess the relevance of diverse theories for various public health issues and to use theory to guide the design, implementation, and evaluation of HP interventions with a focus on social justice and health equity.
