Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to provide the student an overview of the subject of Public Health Informatics. The historical development of public health information management to current developments and issues in public health informatics will be addressed. Current technical concerns, strategies and needs will be studied. Current and historical case studies will be reviewed and analyzed to give the student a deeper appreciation for the field.
