Offered spring. Prereq., WRIT 101 and NRSM 265 . Restricted to students with at least junior standing or graduate students. This course covers the primary ecological theories that inform the practice of ecological restoration. Topics include the dynamic nature of ecological systems, community assembly, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, food web dynamics, ecological engineering, macroecology, and statistical issues and study design. Level: Undergraduate-Graduate
