Catalog description

Restricted to students in the Wilderness Studies minor. Students investigate watershed function; introductory stream hydrology and morphology; and fish, amphibian and aquatic furbearer habitat characteristics. The course also explores impacts of road building, timber harvest, watershed fragmentation, and irrigated agriculture on watershed and stream function, fish habitat, and fish populations.
