Science of Climate Change

Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to Earth's climate system and the scientific evidence of climate change. It explores how past climate has shaped Earth's ecosystem and how humans are currently altering Earth's climate system as well as potential future climate scenarios. Through this course students will gain a better understanding of Earth's energy budget, the global carbon cycle, and potential impacts of climate change.
