Catalog description

Offered spring odd-numbered years. Prereq., MUSI 281 . Restricted to majors and minors in Music. Applies IPA to French and German diction and addresses other guidelines that apply to the lyric pronunciation of these languages. Students will transcribe, translate, recite, and sing German and French texts. Students who would like to be considered for mid-year registration in this diction series may do so only with the consent of the instructor.
