Offered spring. Restricted to majors and minors in Music and majors in Sound Design and Media Technology. A survey of representative examples of the standard music literature of the Western European tradition. Particular attention to musical styles and forms and their relationship to musical understanding and effective listening. A basic knowledge of music fundamentals is expected.
