Catalog description
Students will learn the fundamentals of writing history through study of a topic that will change according to the expertise of the instructor of record. Through a multi-drafting writing process students will hone their research skills, learn how to craft interpretive theses, develop outlines, and gain experience in drafting and re-drafting their written work. Students will also learn how to compose strong prose, organize historical arguments, and manage the mechanics of proper citation.
