Restricted to students in graduate History programs. This graduate colloquium introduces students to the scholarly literatures of three broad and overlapping fields: U.S. legal history and the history of the American state; the history of American capitalism; and the history of American democracy. Students will interrogate classic scholarship and gain a strong understanding of the current state of scholarly conversations in these fields. Level: Graduate.
