Offered autumn. Prereq., GRMN 202 . Native or near–native speakers of German may not apply credit for this course toward a German major or minor. The course emphasizes advanced development of the four linguistic skills: listening comprehension, reading, writing, speaking. Interactive approaches toward texts and media foster active participation for conversation. Focus is on development of communication skills, linguistic accuracy, and cross-cultural competence.
