Offered autumn. Prereq., FORS 230 or FORS 330 or BIOE 370 or BIOE 342 or NRSM 462 . A detailed analysis of fire ecology in terrestrial ecosystems with a focus on the Rocky Mountains, including fire history, fire effects, landscape patterns, land use legacies, management implications, and current topics. Includes at least one required all-day field trip.
