Catalog description

Restricted to students admitted to the Teacher Education Program. Fundamental concepts of curriculum planning and assessment for classroom teachers, including connections to content standards, specific learning activities, and interdisciplinary concept development. Assessment fundamentals related to item construction, results interpretation, and connections to continuous improvement are addressed. Effective differentiation strategies are explored including discussions of higher-level thinking skills related to problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and creativity.
