Offered autumn and spring. Prereq., WRIT 101 . Restricted to majors in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and those in the Teacher Education Program. Genre survey, including cross-cultural literature, that focuses on responding to children’s literature through reading, writing, listening, speaking, and activities that emphasize selecting literature, teaching critical thinking, and integrating literature into the elementary curriculum.
