Catalog description

This course examines the psychology of learning as it applies to classroom teaching. Students will study learning and developmental theories, related instructional approaches, motivation in learning, intelligence and higher-level thinking, and diversity in schools. Learning environments are used as a lens to examine and critique theories and research in the social sciences.
