Catalog description

Offered spring. Focus on research-based methods of instruction for students with low incidence disabilities in basic communication, mobility, sensory, and social skills, as well as academic skills (especially literacy and general education curricular access). An introduction to augmentative and alternative communication and life quality today and in the future. An introduction to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and assistive technology (AT) is also addressed. A field experience is required. Level: Graduate
