Catalog description

Offered intermittently. Prereq., WRIT 101 or WRIT 201 . Students learn to use library resources and research databases/search engines to develop research questions and explore a scientific topic. Students develop their topic, develop scientific questions, write summaries of peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, and develop an annotated bibliography. Students orally present their findings at the end of the semester and engage in self-reflection about their writing.
