Advanced Concepts in Coaching

Catalog description

Restricted to students with at least junior status. This course will introduce students to a solid foundation in coaching. It includes coaching theories, competitive coaching strategies, and training methods and techniques. The course will cover the requirements for the bronze level of the American Sport Education Program (ASEP). Appropriate for coaches at all levels, but will focus on basic skills of coaching for youth through high school. Level: Undergraduate-Graduate
