Introduction to General Chemistry

Offered autumn and spring. Prereq., EdReady placement level 2.5; or SAT >= 540; or ACT >= 22; or UM Math Placement score >= 25; or M 121 (may be taken simultaneously) or a higher level mathematics course. This is the first semester of an introduction to the general, inorganic, organic, and biological chemistry series. It is intended for majors and programs that do not intend to take more than one year of chemistry or for students who require additional preparation before taking CHMY 141N .
