Catalog description

This course will focus on different topics concerning U.S. Afro-Latino communities in the United States. Through the reading and viewing of a variety of Latino literature and films, students will learn about themes such as immigration, race, identity, gender, language and politics that characterize the Mexican American, Cuban, Puerto Rican and Dominican communities. Alternates English and Spanish
