Space Science for Elementary Teachers

(Fall, odd years.) This course builds elementary teachers’ content knowledge through space science and astronomy units. Participants experience classroom activities and learn teaching “best practices” before implementing them in their classrooms. Course materials are aligned to National Model Academic Standards in Space Science.
