Catalog description

Students will learn which remote sensing data are useful for investigating questions related to vegetation and soil science, geologic mapping, animal movement and behavior, and other topics, and how to query relevant data repositories. Students will learn basic data processing, including radiometric, geometric, and atmospheric processing, and data analysis, including classification and regression. There is no prior coding experience required for this course. Labs will be conducted using open-source and commercial platforms, including Google Earth Engine, ENVI, and ArcGIS Pro
