Catalog description

This course evaluates the potential for leadership theories, research, and practices to advance social justice across a range of educational contexts. Students evaluate the relationships among privilege, power, and educational equity from a variety of perspectives. Critical theory will be applied to examine the empirical and practical complexities of diversity and its impact on leadership within classrooms, schools, institutions, communities, and educational systems
