Catalog description
This two-semester sequence of A&P courses serves the needs of students on health professions tracks. Therefore, these courses are designed to provide opportunities for students to gain a sound understanding of the fundamental structures and the operations of each of the major systems of the human/mammalian body. The primary goal is for students to familiarize themselves with the specialized vocabulary used in this realm of science, as well as to develop an understanding of the functional mechanisms, which operate within each system of the body .
