The majority of the semester will address managerial accounting, the process of providing information to managers for use in planning, control and decision making. Managerial accounting topics include product costing, cost-volume-profit analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, and decision analysis tools. The managerial accounting coverage will be preceded by a brief continuation of study of selected principles of financial accounting
