Catalog description
Game-Based Learning examines the theory and practice of integrating games into therapeutic and educational contexts for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. The course explores the ludic language pedagogy framework, empowering students to critically evaluate, adapt, and design games that support communication, language, literacy, and social-emotional growth. Students will analyze existing games, develop therapy-centered adaptations, and ultimately design their own game-based learning experience.
