Psychology of Women

Catalog description

This course covers the current state of knowledge about the psychology of women based on theoretical and empirical contributions from psycho-biology, personality, social and life-span psychology. This course examines gender through feminist and intersectional frameworks, focusing on research methods, sources of bias, and critical analysis of gender differences, while exploring how gender intersects with race, class, and other identities to shape access to power and address systemic inequity in the United States.
