Pathophysiology

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with in-depth study of medical pathophysiology. Pathophysiology builds on previously acquired knowledge in PHA-616 Human Physiology to offer further training in the physiology of disease processes, and the disruption of normal physiologic function of organ systems. Together, the two courses provide a foundation in human physiology coupled with the in-depth study of pathophysiological processes that lead to clinical signs and symptoms of illness and diseases.
