Advanced Spanish Conversation and Oral Discourse

Catalog description

FS-300A is designed to bridge the gap between lower and upper division courses by providing students with optimal opportunities to practice their oral language skills at the high intermediate level. The course provides practice in all four language functions within a rich and varied cultural context, while placing special emphasis on conversation, listening, debate and oral presentation skills. Students explore and discuss many topics in this course, with particular emphasis on the examination of systemic inequalities and racism in the United States and Latin America.
