Spanish for Health Care Professionals

Catalog description

Spanish for Health Professionals is an intermediate, communicative-based language course in which students learn and practice speaking, listening, reading and writing in Spanish within a Healthcare context. Through a variety of communicative and practical activities, students build proficiency in the Spanish language and acquire important vocabulary and communicative structures related to the Healthcare professions. Open to all students, FS-222 is of particular relevance to Health Studies, Nursing, Pre-Med and Science majors. FS-101 through FS-202 and FS-222 courses are sequential. Prerequisites: FS-201
