An orientation to career opportunities/advancement based on the successful pitch process necessary to achieve "greenlight" status for proposed media projects. Provides a comprehensive overview of new media formats, stages of media production, and related entertainment media technologies, products and services. Course also examines the vital roles of producers and creative executives in these processes. Students learn how to transform themselves from media consumers to media producers. No previous media-related training or experience is required. Students must have Junior standing to take this course.
