Catalog description

This course focuses on the fundamentals of legal analysis and writing. Effective legal analysis and writing are key skills required to succeed in law school and the legal profession. Students will understand the role of an attorney, analyzing their client's legal issue, drafting legal writing, and advocating for a legal position. In addition to written briefs and advocacy, students will participate in a series of mock trial simulations to develop their legal analysis and advocacy skills.
