Spanish Linguistics

Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of Spanish linguistics. Students will be introduced to the basic theoretical concepts of phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics, and how these different areas interact in Spanish. The course will focus on different methods of language analysis and will bring up the main points of contrast with English.
