Beginning Spanish for the Healthcare Professions I

This is an introductory course that focuses on the development of communicative proficiency in the Spanish language. This course affords students the opportunity to practice speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in Spanish, as well as to gain knowledge and understanding of the culture. Particular emphasis is placed on the systematic mastery of vocabulary, and conversational skills for healthcare professionals. SPA 1030 is intended for students with little or no previous experience in the language. SPA 1030 is equivalent to SPA 1010 or SPA 1050 and students can take only ONE of these courses. NOTE: Open to first and second year students only, or to students enrolled at Molloy prior to Fall 2019.
