Cultural Anthropology is the study of the world's peoples from broad and diverse cultural perspectives. Social organizations, religion, political systems, economic structures, patterns of subsistence, and cultural knowledge are explored. Understandings of the various human-environment relationships are also discussed, including - hunting and gathering, agriculture, herding, and industrialism. The social construction of the term "race" and politics of representation in museums will also be covered in the class. Satisfies General Education
