Catalog description

This elective will focus on the business of teaching instrumental or vocal lessons as a private business. Students will learn how to establish their own private teaching studios, create marketing strategies, create schedules, income/expense spreadsheets, prepare their taxes, prepare lesson plans and various other topics important to running a private teaching studio.
