Catalog description

The study of New York State from the Colonial period to the present. Students will examine the diversity of the American past as represented and exemplified in the history of New York State. Emphasis will be placed on the major social, political, cultural and economic forces that shaped the development of the state and the impact of New York on the nation at large.
