Beginning French I

This is an introductory course that focuses on the development of communicative proficiency in the French language. This course affords students the opportunity to practice speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in French, as well as to gain knowledge and understanding of the culture. Particular emphasis is placed in the systematic mastery of vocabulary and conversational skills. FRE 1010 is intended for students with little or no previous experience in the language. NOTE: Open to first and second year students only, or to students enrolled at Molloy prior to Fall 2019.
