Finance and Economic Experiential Seminar

Catalog description

This course is intended for students participating in the annual Federal Reserve Challenge and CFA Challenge. Students will analyze recent economic developments, formulate a forecast for the US economy, and propose a monetary policy prescription. Students will have the opportunity to make a presentation to the Federal Reserve Bank. This course will also provide students with the quantitative and qualitative skills needed to perform equity research. Students will have the opportunity to present their buy or sell recommendations to CFA judges.
