Catalog description

A study of one or more significant authors whose artistic achievements merit particular attention within literary tradition. Through comparison and critical analysis of selected works, students consider the historical and literary context of the writer(s). Among other literary features, the course includes a focus on stylistic strategies, themes, and issues found in the works selected.
