Technical Writing

Catalog description

In this course students will use scientific and technological data sets to analyze complex information and make rhetorically-informed choices on how to best communicate key concepts to a variety of audiences. Students will compose written, visual, and interactive media using a variety of digital platforms. The ethics of data, civic issues involved with data consumption and dissemination, and best practices for composition across media types will be discussed. (Advanced writing course)
