Field Experience in a School Setting

Catalog description

(formerly EDU 3300) This field experience will provide teacher candidates with a thirty-hour semester long experience in a high-needs district in inclusive classrooms at the grade levels for which the candidates are being prepared to teach. Teaching experiences will be in all content and special subject areas normally taught in all certification areas. Evaluation will be by certified cooperating teachers. Observations and implementation of pedagogical knowledge in the diverse classroom will be the focus of this field experience. Two one-hour seminar meetings regarding field experiences are required.
