Catalog description

This course will prepare students to conduct their own empirical analyses on actual Economic data. Students will learn how to evaluate probabilities, distributions and samples. They will apply hypothesis-testing methods to real world problems and they will carry out their own statistical tests, including estimation and forecasting, using regression techniques on time-series models.
